Description
Shrub to c.3 m high;young stems covered with fine,appressed to spreading hairs.Leaves usually opposite or ± opposite,narrow-ovate,1.5–3 mm long,c.0.5 mm wide,apex rounded to acute,sparsely hairy to glabrous,sessile. Flowers pink,sessile,in head-like clusters at and of branches.Hypanthium long-pubescent,occasionally glabrous.Sepals triangular,1–1.5 mm long.Petals c.1.5 mm long.Stamens 2.5–3 mm long.Ovary mostly 3-locular or sometimes 4-locular,placentation axile;style c.4 mm long. Fruit 3 mm long,3–3.5 mm diam.,dehiscent.
