Description

Eucalyptus placita is a forest tree of eastern Australia.Commonly known as the Grey Ironbark.Previously considered the same species as Eucalyptus paniculata.It grows in moist areas in the mid north coast region of New South Wales,from Cessnock to Kempsey.Usually on the more fertile deeper soils.Often seen from 20 to 30 metres tall,but exceptional individuals may grow taller than 50 metres.
