Description
Eucalyptus melanophitra is a tree that is native to a small area along the south coast of Western Australia.The mallet tree typically grows to a height of 4 to 7 metres (13 to 23 ft) and has rough fllaky bark toward the bottom of the trunk.It blooms between February and March producing white flowers.It is found on stony breakaways in a small area along the south coast to the east of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia]] where it grows in skeletal soils over laterite.
