Eucalyptus latens,commonly known as narrow-leaved red mallee,is a mallee that is native to Western Australia. The mallee typically grows to a height of 2 to 4 metres (7 to 13 ft) and has smooth bark.It blooms between January and March producing white-cream flowers. It is found on sand plains and slopes in the southern Wheatbelt region of Western Australia where it grows in sandy-clay soils over laterite
