Description
Eucalyptus apodophylla,commonly known as Whitebark,is a tree that is native to the Kimberley region of Western Australia and the Northern Territory.The tree typically grows to a height of 6 to 20 metres (20 to 70 ft) and has smooth white bark It blooms between July and October producing white inflorescences.Found among sandstone outcrops,around swamps,creek banks and seasonally inundated flats where it grows in sand,clay or loam soils.The species was described in 1934 by the botanists William Blakely and Jacobs in the work A Key to the Eucalypts.
