Description
Hectorella, is a monotypic genus belonging to the family Montiaceae. Its only species: Hectorella caespitosa, is originally from New Zealand. It is a small, perennial shrub that forms a cushion 2-4 cm deep. The branches are fleshy, close together, with the roots below, ascending at the tips and ending in rosettes.
