Decumbent to ascending herb with flowering stems to 20 cm long. Leaves lanceolate,1.5–7 cm long,2–8 mm wide. Sepals 2–3 mm long.Petals 2.5–4.5 mm long,pale pink.Stamens usually 4–6,rarely 3. Capsule 2.6–2.8 mm long,valves not persistent;seeds numerous,obovoid to ± lenticular,papillate-punctate,dark red-brown to black.
