Description
Aglaia is a botanical genus with more than 100 species belonging to the family ( Meliaceae ). They are trees that grow in the tropical and subtropical rainforests of Southeast Asia , northern Australia and the Pacific . Some are usable for their wood , others have edible fruits , perfumed flowers or medicinal properties. Many have complex biological relationships with their dispersing agents. Some show insecticidal bioactivity.
