Description
Clidemia pilosa is a two-hearted plant species described by Pav. and David Don. Clidemia pilosa was included in the Clidemia genus and the Melastomataceae family. The area of the species is Peru. It contains about 450 species, the best known being C. hirta (soapbush). The generic name honours Ancient Greek author Cleidemus.
