Description
The tulip of Guillestre or tulip with flattened stigmas (Tulipa platystigma Jord.) Is a species of perennial bulbous plant of the family Liliaceae and the genus Tulipa. It is one of 14 species of wild tulips of France. It is an endemic species of the Haute-Durance and almost extinct. It owes its name to the city of Guillestre in the Hautes-Alpes.
