Description
Thymus leptophyllus is a plant of the genus Thymus ( Thymus ) in the mint family. It is a small shrub similar to Thymus bracteatus but smaller overall. is formed with long, slender, up-curved to low-lying non-flower-bearing stems, of which about 1.5 to 4 cm long, upright to ascending, flower-bearing and hairy stems as well as axillary tufts out of leaves leaves . These are 5 to 8 mm long and 1 to 1.5 mm wide. They are herbaceous, pale green, glabrous, ciliolate at the base and mostly petiolate. The species occurs in the middle and in the east of Spain.
