Description
The colicosa ( Micromeria graeca ) is a shrub of the amilia of labiadas Dwarf shrub 10-50 cm high, covered with a blot up to a rough, aromatic pubescence, with numerous upright stems upwards, usually unbranched. Leaves placed of entire margins, up to 12 mm long and 7 mm wide, oval to pointed, with margins turned downwards. Terminal flowers in whorls of 2 to 8 flowers forming an inflorescence in the form of spikes , loose. Cup- shaped chalice, up to 5 mm long, with 13 nerves and 5 unequal teeth. Corollalight purple, bilabiate, 6 mm long, rarely more, with the straight tube and the upper lip in the shape of a helmet. 4 stamens under the upper lip. Style with 2 branches of equal length. Super ovary that becomes 4 nutella ( clusas ). Blooming in spring but also during autumn
