Description
Crocosmia pottsii is a species of flowering plant in the genus Crocosmia , belonging to the family Iridaceae . It is a species of this South African that grows in the form of a shrub along the banks of rivers and small streams. It reaches a size of 70 to 100 cm in height and has leaves and ears with up to 30 flowers in two rows in the form of a sword. The flowers are zygomorphic , smaller than those of other species, funnel-shaped and scarlet orange. It blooms at the beginning of summer.
