Canary island geranium (Geranium palmatum)
Description
Award-winning Geranium palmatum (Canary Island Cranesbill) is a robust evergreen perennial forming a large rosette of deeply dissected dark green leaves, up to 12 in. wide (30 cm). In late spring to early summer, tall, airy inorescences of showy purplish-pink owers, adorned with deep crimson centers, rise well above the attractive foliage. Short-lived and often grown as a biennial, this is a desirable plant for mild winter gardens and a real show stopper
