Description
Stillingia sylvatica�grows as a more or less upright�semi-shrub�, which reaches a stature height of 20 to 120 cm.�He has a woody�rhizome�.�The roots are thickened spindle-shaped.�The branches arise singly or in groups of several from the rhizome, they are unbranched or�dichotomically�branched�in the upper part�.�They are dog-eared and remain herbaceous or poorly lignified.�Older�shoot axles�have a reddish, reddish-brown or gray-reddish speckled�bark�, which often has longitudinal and transverse cracks.
