Carex maritima (Carex maritima)
Description
This sedge has generally curved stems that reach an average of 25 cm in height. The basal leaves with brown to dark brown pods ; 0.5-2 mm wide. The inflorescence of 5-16 mm ; in dense ovoid hemispherical spike Perigynium pale yellowish brown, dark brown.Plants can be very small in contrast to the richer, richer individuals on the banks of the river or inland on some occasions on the shore of lakes.
