Description
Stonecrop ( Sedum hirsutum ) is a species of the family of the Crassulaceae . It is a perennial plant, hairy-glandulosa in all its parts, sometimes even somewhat viscous. Inflorescence in pauciflora panicle, with small fleshy, oblong bracts. Pentamer flowers; pedicels 1.5-2.5 mm. Sepals 2,5-3 x 1,5-2,5 mm, oval-oblongosu oval, acute. Petals 5.5-6 (7) x 2.5-3 (3.5) mm, narrowly oblong, sharp, white or pink, with a dorsal nerve often reddish, welded at the base 1 / 3-1 / 4 of its length. Stamens 10, shorter than the petals; white filaments, usually with some hyaline papillae at their edges; purple anthers, horseshoe shaped. Follicles 2.5-3.5 mm, erect, light brown, hairy on the inner side; 1mm style. Numerous, tiny, ovoid seeds; ribbed test; Sharp apex. It has a number ofchromosomes of n = 9; 2n = 18, 20, 60.
