Walking kalanchoe (Kalanchoe synsepala)
Description
Kalanchoe synsepala is a perennial, stoloniferous plant. Their upright or downright upright, always simple shoots are woody and very vigorous. They are usually very short, but sometimes reach a length of up to 40 centimeters. The few leaves are in terminal rosettes. They are sitting to almost sitting, fleshy, very thick and strong. The bald or short-haired, ovate-spatulate leaf blade is 6 to 15 inches long and 4 to 7 inches wide. It is blunt at the top or slightly circular and rounded. At the base, it is narrowed and stems comprehensive. The leaf marginis entire or wavy-serrated with stiff teeth, sometimes deeply incised. The inflorescence is axillary and usually consists of two opposite, very dense ebensträußigen cymes of 2 to 9 inches in length. The 15 to 30 centimeters long inflorescence stem is hairy-glandular in the upper part. The upright flowers sit on 3 to 12 millimeters long pedicels. The bell-shaped, greenish, hairy-glandular calyx tube is 2.5 to 4 millimeters long and ends in triangular, pointed-dornenspitzigen lobes, which are 1 to 2 millimeters long and 1.7 to 2.3 millimeters wide. The white, pink to purple corolla is pubis. The tubular, four-edged, 7 to 12 millimeter long Kronröhrehas spreading, ovate to inverted-egg-shaped triangular, pointed-spiny tip of 5 to 7 millimeters in length and 3 to 4 millimeters wide. The stamens are attached to the tip of the Kronröhre and protrude from the Kronröhre out. The anthers are egg-shaped and about 1.2 millimeters long. The linear, outlined Nektarschüppchen are about 2 millimeters in size. The oblong-lanceolate carpel in side view is between 8 and 10 millimeters, the stylus between 1.5 and 2 millimeters long.
