Flinders rose (Capparis spinosa)
Description
The Capparis spinosa (English: caper , caper bush , Flinders rose Spanish: alcaparro ) is a perennial or perennial plant deciduous winter having leaves out and plump and blooming large white to marosas white flowers. The plant is known for its edible flower buds called caper , often used as a seasoning, and caper berry fruit , both of which are consumed as marinated or laced. Other Capparis species are also ringed like C. spinosabecause of their shoots and fruits. Other parts of Capparis plants are used in the manufacture of medicines and cosmetics. There are Capparis spinosa in almost all countries around the Mediterranean cemetery, and along with the whole flowering of most of them, but it is uncertain whether it is native to this region. While the Mediterranean region's plants have enough endemism , the caper 's bush can come from the tropics , and the latter has become a natural Mediterranean relief.
