Jibali pincushion cactus (Coryphantha werdermannii)
Description
Coryphantha werdermannii grows mostly solitary with spherical, ovate or short cylindrical, bright gray-green shoots , which reach diameters of 6 to 7 centimeters growth heights of 7 to 9 centimeters. The conical to cylindrical, ascending, fixed warts are up to 1.5 inches long. The axillae are bald. The four stiff, strongly protruding, strongly curved and only sometimes straight middle spines are whitish to tan to black.
