Description
Copiapoa serpentisulcata usually forms upholstery with a height of up to 60 centimeters and a diameter of up to one meter. The flattened globular shoots are light brown to brownish colored. They have a yellowish vertex, are densely spined and are seven to ten inches in diameter. The 18 to 33 ribs are wider than high and are clearly resolved into bumps.
