Bogo tree (Garuga floribunda)
Description
Garuga floribunda is a large, deciduous, canopy tree growing from 8 - 36 meters tall. The buttressed bole is cylindrical, 50 - 90cm in diameter, and unbranched for 20 - 25 meters [388 feet]. The tree is valued mainly for its timber, though it also produces an edible fruit, a dye and is used medicinally.
