Norwegian Draba (Draba norvegica)
Description
Draba is a large genus of flowering plants in the cabbage family Brassicaceae (Cruciferae), commonly known as whitlow-grasses (though they are not related to the true grasses). This perennial plant has upright stems up to 20 cm in height from rosettes with lanceolate and downy basal leaves. Its honey flowers are white from 3 to 5 mm in diameter and are arranged in dense inflorescences. The petals almost double the sepals . It blooms in summer on the rocky slopes.
