Onosma (Onosma echinatum)
Description
Onosma echioides is a plant type from the genus of onosma ( Onosma ) in the family of the Boraginaceae (Boraginaceae). Onosma echioides is a more or less lawn-forming, perennial plant that produces some flower-bearing stems . These reach stature heights of 10 to 30 cm, are upright, unbranched or little branched and hairy and hairy with star-shaped long bristles. The rays of the bristles are bent backwards. The lower leaves are 20 to 60 mm long and 1 to 7 mm wide, linear or lineal-elongated and sparsely to densely hairy with star-shaped bristles. The bristles are 1 to 1.5 mm long, white, gray or yellow in color and provided with 0.3 to 0.4 mm long rays. The flower stems are 0 to 2 mm long. The bracts are shorter or the same length as the goblet . This is about 10 mm long at the flowering time, increases in size to the fruit up to 15 mm and is covered with simple and some star-shaped bristles. The crown is 18 to 25 mm long, pale yellow and finely hairy. It is about twice as long as the calyx, cylindrical at the tip and narrowing toward the base. The fruits are about 2 to 5 mm long, smooth, shiny nutlets. The chromosome number is 2n = 14.
