Echium arenarium (Echium arenarium)
Description
It is a small grass covered by long rigid hairs that branches from the base. The flowers are tubular blue with intense stamens included within the corolla aspect that differentiates it from the rest of species of the same genus. It can be confused with E. calycinum but in the latter species the segments of the calyx are wider (3-6 mm, than that of E. arenarium of 2-3 mm) and the celestial blue flowers.
