Description

Bellevalia dubia is a perennial bulbous plant that reaches stature heights of 15 to 40 centimeters. The leaves are 4 to 13 millimeters wide and lying down. The flowers are 5 to 10 millimeters in size and cylindrical-bell-shaped. They are initially colored sky blue, later they are grayish-violet or brownish with green-veined, white corners. The grape is cylindrical and consists of 10 to 30 flowers. The flowers and capsules are usually longer than the pedicels. The capsules have broad obovate, 7 to 10 mm wide and flared at the top flaps. The flowering period is from March to April.
