Copernicia tectorum (Copernicia tectorum)
Description
A solitary palm. It grows well in the Venezuelan central plains, in areas with a savannah climate (Aw in the Köppen climate type), sometimes with a longer dry season than normal, often more than six months. Usually does not lose its leaves, which freely hang next to the trunk, a characteristic of many Copernicia. Editing by edric.
