Description
It is a shrub of 0.60-2m in height with woody stems at the base and often in the middle of its length, little branches and leaves of 3-25 by 0.3-3cm, coriaceous, subamplexicaules, from narrow to broadly oblong-lanceolate, acute and terminated in a hooked mucron, with well-marked central nerve and reticule of thin lateral nerves, glaucous in color. The inflorescences in terminal and lateral umbels with 3-12 bracts from ovate to lanceolate, reflex, much shorter than the rays and persistent. The bractéolas in number 3-7, and 2-9 by 2-5mm, are subequal, ovate-lanceolate, little or longer and wider than theflowers and fruits. Said flowers, in number of 3-25, have the yellow or greenish-yellow petals and the fruits pedicelled, consist of schizocarps of 2 mericarp oblong / oblong-elliptic of 4-8 by 1-2 mm, smooth and with ribs closely Winged, smooth.
