Description
Bupleurum chinense is a species of medicinal plant of the family of the apiáceas . It is native to East Asia . Its root is medicinal and has the name of chaihu. The leaves of the plant are long and thin and resemble fennel . Traditionally used to relieve infections with fever , hemorrhoids and indigestion. It is also used to treat liver stagnation ( Qi ), irritability, and liver disease.
