Description
Nothoscordum gracile ( Aiton ) Stearn 1986 is a bulbous plantbelonging to the family Amaryllidaceae (formerly of the family Alliaceae ). Originally from Mexico the species is used as an ornamental plant due to its showy inflorescences and the fragrance of its flowers. Perennial plant bulbous, deciduous that produces scapes of 20-60 cm in height. The leaves are simple, linear, with full margin and basal insertion. The flowers are campanulate, fregrantes, of whitish color, grouped in terminal umbels Flowers in May and June. The fruit is a loculicidal capsule
