Description
The Venezuelan Burn ( Alternanthera paronychioides ) is a species of plant of the Amaranth family of Central and South America. They are evergreen herbs , reaching a size of up to 0.6 m in length, prostrate and highly branched stems, stems and lower branches subglabros or pubescent with simple trichomes , applied, up to 0.4 mm long, white, becoming densely hairy in the upper parts . Leaves broad or narrowly elliptical, often spatulate, variable in size in the same plant.
