Euphorbia lactea ‘Cristata’ , also known as the coral cactus, has become a very popular houseplant in recent years.

The coral cactus is sometimes referred to as a Frankenstein plant, because it is actually two separate plant species combined to make a single plant.

Both plants are Euphorbias, but the straight green base and the top ‘coral’ part actually originate from two totally different plants, which have been grafted together by hand.
